Online Learning Opportunities

On-line learning has been a great way to earn a Masters degree for me.  I do not drive and it would be impossible for me to take night classes after work, due to the bus schedule.  I am sure that there are other out there who face similar obstacle to achieving their learning goals.  Online learning gives the older students, the working, the disabled, and others another option.

Online learning also expands the types of courses and education opportunities that a person has available to them.  My sister’s school did not offer the advanced classes that she needed.  So, she took high school classes via GenNet.  Although the advance Calculus class was not offered in her school district, thanks to technology, my sister was able to successfully complete this course.  Technology opens so many doors that were previously locked tightly closed.

We are now a world of technology, we will first see the day of the paperless classroom is more common than paper fill classrooms, followed by the day of the classroomless school is more common the buildings full of rooms with chalkboards and desks.
