Introduction
My objective in designing this website is to compile a resource guide for educators, parents, and caregivers of individuals with special needs. I first became interested in this listing when I could not find the elementary educational materials necessary to meet my student’s math deficiencies, anywhere in my high school. This was when I first turned to the web for help.
Through several dealings with parents and educators who were seeking assistance with issues concerning special needs students, I also discovered the need to create a list of agencies and professional organizations, which service individuals with special needs. Both of these concerns can be addressed using the links listed below.

This website simply provides a list of resources in all areas of science. There are interactive activities from Biology to botany and everything in between. Educators who are teaching science can even find experiments for the class to conduct on this site.. The links on the page encompass a wide variety of topics including: Lesson plans, experiments, resource books, videotapes, activities and more.

This site has math lesson plans and worksheets for teacher use. It is full of resources for teaching the basic math concepts which special needs students struggle to grasp. There are links to math databases, entire math units, individual lesson plans math games, and story problems.

This site has a discussion forum, where teachers can communicate with other professionals to talk about problems and issues concerning students with special needs. It also provides teachers with a list of professional development opportunities, opportunities to read special education publications, and access to the latest policies, effecting the field of special education

This is a great site for parents, teachers, and individuals with disabilities it assists them in staying abreast of the latest issue effecting the special needs population.

IEPT and disability areas are also discussed on this site. Resources on this site include: videotapes, workshops, and free magazines that can be subscribed to. There is also a hotline that puts the caller in contact with people who are trained to help professional who deal with these kids.
